The Argentine difference

Shorten your learning curve five to ten times over

5–10×

Faster progression

The same hours. A fraction of the years.

Polo is learned from the horse up. Trained on Argentine-schooled ponies and taught by an Argentine professional, players reach in months what commonly takes years elsewhere — because nothing is learned twice, and nothing has to be unlearned later.

Mariano teaches the technique of the game as it is played at the highest level: the polo that culminates every season at the Palermo Open in Buenos Aires, widely regarded as the finest tournament in the world. Position, timing, the line of the ball and the ride itself are taught exactly the way they are played at the top.

The result is a shorter, cleaner path — correct habits from the very first lesson, horses that teach you rather than fight you, and a standard of play you can take to any club, anywhere.

Right from lesson one

No bad habits to undo later — the technique is correct from the first swing.

Horses that teach

Argentine-schooled ponies that build confidence instead of costing you months.

The Palermo standard

The same method behind the game played at the world's most demanding tournament.

Measured progress

Almost 40 players taken from −2 to +2 goals under a structured AAP programme.

The player

Two decades between the sticks and the stables

Mariano Mazzitelli is an Argentine 3-goal professional who has spent his entire life in polo — from the equestrian school at La Martona at eight years old, through advanced development at La Martina under Marcial Socas, Salvador Socas and Eduardo Amaya, to official AAP tournaments including the Copa Potrillos and Bartolomé Mitre.

What sets him apart is range. He plays, he teaches, he makes horses, and he builds clubs. He has introduced almost forty players to the sport and taken them from −2 up to +2 goals. He co-coached the Poland Ladies' National Polo Team and reached the finals at Palermo with the Buksza team. Most recently he established professional polo in Namibia from nothing — importing horses from Argentina, building a full-size field, and training local grooms and players from their very first day.

He is known for his horsemanship above all: patient with young horses, meticulous about conditioning, and equally comfortable explaining a tactical line to a patron or a first neck shot to a child.

Polo gives you everything — the horse, the team, the game. My job is to hand that over to someone else properly.

Selected achievements

  • Established professional polo in Namibia from zero — horses, field, facilities and players.
  • Co-coach of the Poland Ladies' National Polo Team, 2023.
  • Reached the finals at Palermo, Buenos Aires with the Buksza team in two Argentine tournaments.
  • Champion of the 2011 South Polo Circuit Championship and the Norfin Cup.
  • Introduced and coached almost 40 players from −2 to +2 goal handicap.
  • Led an 1,800 km transport of 16 horses across the Namib desert to compete in South Africa.
